Quiz Software Not Working?

If you are not able to access or complete the online quizzes on

It may take a while for these quizzes to load, usually it shows blank page at the beginning as it loads and after several minutes it will show a flash player with your Online Quiz.

1. Open the “Mozilla FireFox” browser.
2. Click on the drop down menu on the top left corner of the Firefox browser, and select “Options.”  
3. The “Options” window will open.
4. Click on the “Content” tab.
5. Locate the line that reads “Block pop-up windows” and click the “Exceptions” button next to it.
6. Enter the full URL of the site for which you want to allow popup windows. 
7. Click the “Allow” button to add that site to your exceptions list.
8. Continue adding URL’s as necessary until all of your exceptions have been added, 
9. Then close the Allowed Sites window and the Options window.

 

Alternate Temporary Solution

If the above three solutions have not worked and you would just like to submit results before you move onto the next steps, please send us screen shots showing that you have achieved 100% results for you quiz.

You will also need to show screen shots of any Essay Questions within the quiz as these results are not included in the 100% result

 

Adjust your computers DPI settings:-

For Windows 8

1. Right-click your desktop & select Personalise.

2. Click Display in the lower left corner of the window that appears.

3. Select the 100% radio button.

4. Click Apply.

Please note that you may be required to restart your computer for the change to take effect.

 

For Windows 7

1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Appearance & Personalisation > Display.

2. From the left navigation panel, select Set custom text size (DPI).

3. From the Scale to this percentage of normal size drop-down list, select 100%.

4. Click the Ok button.

Please note that you may be required to restart your computer for the change to take effect.

 

For Windows Vista

1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Appearance & Personalisation > Personalisation.

2. Under Tasks in the left hand sidebar select Adjust font size (DPI).

3. Change DPI Scaling to Default scale (96 DPI) – fit more information.

4. Click the Ok button.

For Windows XP or earlier

1. Right click your desktop and select Properties.

2. Select the Settings tab.

3. Click the Advanced button.

4. In the General tab under Display > DPI Setting select Normal size (95 DPI).

5. Click the Ok button

1. Make sure that the Javascript is enabled on your Browser (http://enable-javascript.com/)

2. Make sure that the Adobe Flash Player is installed and enabled on your Browser (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/) If your are using Iphone or any IOS device you can use Puffin Browser (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/puffin-web-browser-free/id472937654?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4) and have flash player installed by following instructions at How to Run Flash player on iPhone 5/5S and iOS 6/7 [No Jailbreak]

3. Log in to http://onlinehorsecollege.edu.au/wp/wp-login.php using the access details provided for your course

4. To view the link to the relevant week of your course please check the link to you provided in a separate email. 

5. Alternately access the Online Quizzes at http://www.onlinehorsecollege.edu.au/education/0.O.01/quiz.html

7. Check that your browser is zoomed in to 100%. http://help.smartsheet.com/customer/portal/articles/506736-browser-zoom.

    A. Operating System: Windows XP, Windows 7, Windox 8, Max OS X 10, Linux, Andriod, IOS 6, OIS 7 or other operating systems

    B. Device used: Desktop PC, Laptop, Ipad, Iphone, Mac Notebook or any other devices

    C. Browser used and its version: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 9, Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Opera or any other browsers
